Hello! This is my first posting on my blog and I am so excited to have better communication with the fiber community. I would appreciate your feedback and comments.
I have recently relaunched my etsy store: GreenwoodFiberworks.etsy.com
This is where I sell some of my creations. Right now that means hand painted rovings, blended fiber batts, and handspun yarns. I would love to have you visit!
Here are pictures from my latest dyeing session. The first is a picture of the hand painted Merino roving and next to it is a picture of yarn spun from that roving. I just love how bright the colors are and how the different values of color make a most interesting yarn.

Beautiful yarn! I am looking forward to learning the different techniques to spinning -- right now my work tends to be rather random.
I love the before and after photos. It really gives you a sense of what it will look like. Nice job!
Ooh, that would be great if you posted a tutorial. As a new spindle spinner I've been wondering about this. I think maybe they discuss it in the Twisted Sisters book, but when I first read it I hadn't yet spun anything and now I don't have the book handy.
Of course, I know tutorials are a lot of work so if you don't get to one for a while it won't stop me from starting into the handpainted rovings I just received from you and experimenting on my own. It would be great to see how different approaches effect the yarn though. :)
